Landscape Montage

Road trip! I was curious to see how obvious (or not) the landscape and sky changes through snapshots during a continuous drive across nine states. The plan was to take pictures in each state and then piece the images together side by side. Passing through on the highways at speeds of 70+ merely captures a glimpse of each state, but wanted to try this exercise.

Here is the montage of nine states. This sequence goes from New York > Pennsylvania > Ohio > Indiana > Illinois > Missouri > Oklahoma > Texas > New Mexico. Try scrolling through both ways to see the differences.

What do you notice? How does the land change? How does the sky change?
