Exhibition: Out of the Blue

Two paintings were juried in a group show entitled Out of the Blue at Gallery Floor Art Gallery in Surprise, AZ. Artists were invited to submit artwork inspired by the color blue. This could include pieces inspired by quotes, emotions, or representations of blue.

The paintings that were juried in are inspired by the blue sky when viewed inside a canyon. The canyon walls are dark, textured, and represent their own transformation. The negative space is filled with the blue sky creating a distinct new shape.
